Timira Pullom Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts that we must report yet another tragic loss in our community. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has officially identified the victim as 28-year-old Timira Marchelle Pullom, whose life was abruptly taken from us.
The incident unfolded late on Saturday evening when a domestic dispute turned deadly. At 11:24 p.m., a fatal shooting occurred at a residence in the 3700 block of Pine Avenue S.W., marking the beginning of a harrowing chain of events.
West Precinct officers responded to a distressing call at 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, discovering Timira Pullom unresponsive inside the residence. Despite the best efforts of Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service, she was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:10 a.m.
Authorities acted swiftly to apprehend a suspect in connection with this tragic incident. The individual is currently in custody at the Birmingham City Jail, awaiting formal charges.
This heart-wrenching event marks the 92nd homicide in Birmingham this year, a staggering number that serves as a somber reminder of the work still needed to create a safer community.
