For those fortunate enough to have known Dr. Guldbrandsen, his legacy as a mentor and senior energy advisor from the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) to the Liberian Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) from 2010 to 2015 is one that continues to inspire and shape the energy landscape.
As a young energy analyst, I had the privilege of being mentored by Dr. Guldbrandsen. His expertise, guidance, and unwavering support played a pivotal role in my professional development. Under his tutelage, I witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of his work, which contributed significantly to the establishment of the Liberia Electricity Law of 2015.
