As Teresa’s child, I feel privileged to have called her my mother, and her absence will be felt deeply in my heart. She was not only a devoted mother but a lifelong resident of Windsor Terrace, where she garnered the affection and admiration of friends and neighbors alike.
Teresa’s remarkable nursing career at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital spanned over fifty years, a testament to her unwavering commitment and dedication to helping others. Many doctors and nurses fondly remembered their time working alongside her, a true testament to the impact she had on their lives.
Despite her demanding career, Teresa found joy in maintaining connections with friends and eagerly anticipated reunions with Bishop McDonnell High School alumni. Her love extended beyond borders, as she cherished her visits to relatives in Ireland.
In memory of Teresa, a visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Joseph G. Duffy, located at 255 Ninth Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215. A mass of Christian burial will take place on September 18th, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Brooklyn, located at 245 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
