Peter O’Connor Obituary, Death – Peter O’Connor, also known as O’Connor’s of Drumleck, peacefully passed away at his residence in Drumleck, Castlebellingham, Co Louth on September 16, 2023. He was previously of Rockfield, Claremorris, Co Mayo. Peter was a beloved husband to Josephine (nee Neary) and the late Rose.
He was a dear father to John, Peter, Fiona, Dermot, and Dearbhla, as well as the late Regina. He cherished his role as a loving granda to Sophia-Rose, Odhrán, Tadhg, Peig, and JP. Peter is survived by his wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Rachel, son-in-law Paudric, Dearbhla’s partner Aidan, and Dermot’s partner Kerrie.
He was a caring brother to Mary, Patsy, Vincent, Jarleth, Martin, Coleman, and was predeceased by his sister Nuala. Peter will be greatly missed by his brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. A visitation for Peter will take place at his residence (A91KF25) from 7 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday evening and from 12 noon to 9 pm on Wednesday.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday morning at 11 am at St. Peter’s Church, Dromiskin, followed by burial in Dromiskin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Gary Kelly Foundation. Peter’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
