Marilyn Hitchcock Obituary, Resident Of Tutor Key, Kentucky, Died At 70

Marilyn Hitchcock Obituary, Death- Marilyn Kaye Lyons Hitchcock, age 70, passed away on September 15, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was a resident of Tutor Key, Kentucky. Born on the 5th of August 1953 in Johnson County, Kentucky parents Elder Florida Lyons and Eldanna VanHoose Lyons, both of whom have now passed away. Her parents were the first to pass away, followed by her six sisters, Anna Belle Puckett, Francis Faye Preston, Cora Lee Walters, Nora Lee Lyons, Wanda Lou Peters, and Peggy Marie Wallen, as well as a grandchild who passed away before her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Fred Hitchcock; two sons, John Terry of Tutor Key, Kentucky and Joshua Hitchcock of Denver, Kentucky; two daughters, Rhonda Kaye Lynch and her husband, Bryan of Bell, Florida and Ellenna Cantrell of Denver, Kentucky; one brother, Jim Wallen of Xenia, Ohio; and one sister, Linda Spencer of Belleville, Michigan; and one grandchild.

She is also survived by one sister, Linda Spencer of Belleville, Michigan. In addition, there are still six grandchildren and two great grandchildren alive. On Friday, September 22, 2023, at eleven o’clock in the morning, funeral services will be place in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow the services in the Marvin Sparks Family Cemetery in Blaine, Kentucky.

The ceremonies will be presided over by Southie Fannin and Arthur Scarberry. On Thursday, the Phelps & Son Funeral Home will be open for visitation from 3:00 to 9:00 pm, and on Friday, beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until the time of the services at 11:00 am. Phelps and Son Funeral Home is in charge of making the necessary arrangements at this time.
