Jill was a true Edina native, having been born and reared in the city. She graduated from Edina High School, where she not only succeeded academically but also made friends for the rest of her life. After receiving her degree, she embarked on a professional path, during which she left an indelible mark. Jill was well-known for her commitment, brilliance, and kindness; she went above and beyond to assist others around her at all times. Jill volunteered her time tirelessly in the community outside of her paid profession.
She contributed a significant amount of time and effort to Edina’s schools, churches, and charitable organizations, which had a great effect on the city. Her willingness to give without expecting anything in return motivated everyone around her to take action and make a difference. Jill’s favorite things to do in her spare time were: She was incredibly enthusiastic about, and her excitement was contagious.
