Bradford City Police Chief Mike Ward reported that the victim, Jesse Meredith, had been staying at the nearby Holiday Inn Express. Upon arrival at the scene, first responders found him lying in the road, a victim of the tragic accident. Despite the best efforts of EMS personnel, Meredith’s injuries proved fatal, with the official cause of death listed as blunt force trauma, as determined by McKean County Coroner Mike Cahill’s office.
The driver involved in the accident, an adult male, remained at the scene and fully cooperated with the ensuing investigation.
