Ja’Von Perry Obituary, Death – In a devastating incident, a young man from St. Louis lost his life in a crash that occurred in Overland during the early hours of Friday morning. Ja’Von D. Perry, just 25 years old, tragically passed away at the scene of the accident, which unfolded at the intersection of Page Avenue and Woodson Road.
First responders from the Community Fire Protection District arrived swiftly but, heartbreakingly, declared Mr. Perry deceased at the crash site. An online crash report filed by the Missouri State Highway Police provided details of the accident.
According to the report, the incident unfolded around 6:30 a.m. as Mr. Perry was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima, traveling west in the left lane of Page Avenue. Regrettably, he was not wearing a seat belt. The collision occurred when his vehicle struck the back end of a semitractor-trailer positioned in the left turn lane.
Thankfully, the semitractor-trailer, identified as a Peterbilt 579, sustained no damage, and its driver emerged from the accident unharmed.
