Edmund Mlodzienski Obituary, Death- Mr. Edmund P. Mlodzienski, age 87, of Duryea, passed away at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Township on September 15, 2023.
He was the son of Walter Mlodzienski, who passed away, and Kathryn Nalepa Mlodzienski, and he was a graduate of St. John’s High School. He was born in Dupont. In the years leading up to his retirement, he held positions at both Insalaco’s and Komensky’s.
He was active in the Nativity of Our Lord Parish, which is located in Duryea. He took pleasure in activities such as gardening, hunting, and fishing in addition to spending time with his family. His son Michael Mlodzienski, who had passed away on August 21, 1989, as well as several of his brothers and sisters had passed away before him.
His wife, who was formerly known as Leona Wrazien, is among those who have survived. David Mlodzienski and Marilyn Mlodzienski, both of Duryea, are the son and wife, respectively. Tom Mlodzienski and Melinda, his wife, both of Rochester, New York
Jenkins Township resident son Ron Mlodzienski and his wife, Barb, are the Mlodzienskis. Grandchildren to include: Matthew, Michael Jr., Michael, Kathryn, and Michael Zack The author’s nieces and nephews Nativity of Our Lord Parish, located at 127 Stephenson Street in Duryea, will host a Mass of Christian Burial on the morning of Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 9:30 am.
The Reverend Michael Bryant will preside over the service. Holy Rosary Cemetery in Duryea will be the location of the interment. On the morning of the funeral, members of the family and friends are kindly requested to report directly to the church.
